Cost: £85 per person
The sessions and time are yours as a family to use as you wish. Ideal for families who would like to learn to ski together whether you have some younger members or beginners in the family and you would like to learn how to ski with them on the mountain, or you may have to keep more advanced skiers entertained. You may decide to keep the family together for all of the session or split it into smaller groups for part of the ski lessons. You may just want to get orientated with the resort and be advised on where to go with the family group during your stay in Megeve, St Gervais, or Contamines.

Guided Resort Tour

For those that just want to know how to get around Megeve, St Gervais and Contamines. Accompanied by a world class ski instructor we will show you the best places to ski, the secret stashes, and quite slopes, in the vast evasion ski area.
A great way to meet other skiers and socialize on the slopes too, with the peace of mind that the day's planning and navigating is taken care of by a professional.

1 Day Off Piste Taster
Course Format: 2 x 3h

An introduction to skiing off the side of the piste in whatever the snow conditions are. Video analysis can be used to help you to develop you own personal performance and take a clear action plan away from the day to keep your skiing developing after the lessons.

3 Days Off Piste Performance
Course Format: 3 Full days

Short duration courses offering that long weekend in Megeve, St Gervais, or Contamines. Only an hours drive from Geneva.
Course a) 2 days with a ski Instructor, 1 day with a UIAGM Mountain Guide

3 day ski course Ideal for anyone who can get away for that long weekend. 2 days will be with one of our world class BASS Instructors and 1 day will be with a Mountain Guide. The UIAGM Mountain Guide day can include skiing off piste anywhere in the domiane evaision mt blanc, or Grands Montets, Argentiere, or the Vallee Blanche. (weather/snow permitting).

6 Day Backcountry Adventure
Course Format: 6 days

Preliminary Dates: 31th January - 5th February 2010
6 Day Backcountry Ski Courses with carefully selected World Class Mountain Guide and World Class Ski Instructor.
- Full 6 days on snow, 5 days with UIAGM Guide/Instructor & one days practice skiing, no other company offers this unique package. 5 contact days are evenly balanced with ski technique, Mountain Skills & Touring (depending on level of course). 2 levels available.
- Our aim is to provide you with a safe, fun and truly unforgettable experience in some of the most exciting and beautiful ski terrain in the world. By combining the skills of top rate ski teaching with high quality guiding, we will help you to develop your skiing / ski touring skills and enjoy the mountains as never before.
- The Course: Each course will bring together the exceptional teaching skills of BASS and the high quality mountain guiding from Wilderplaces. There will be 12 places available on each course making a 1:6 instructor/guide ratio. Course fee Includes free copy of Parallel Dreams Alpine Skiing.

Introduction to Avalanche Safety
Course Format: 1 x 5 hrs -or- 2 x 2.5 hrs

Every year skiers and snowboarders venture off piste poorly equipped to cope with an avalanche and no experience to help anyone else caught in one.
A taster for what knowledge and skills you might like to develop for your overall Off Piste Skiing experience. Avalanche awareness, snow conditions, weather reports, navigation, using transceivers etc. Ideal course if you are either in resort for a few weeks, a season or if you want to book onto one of our other off piste courses. can be split into 2 x 3 hour sessions.

Performance Course
Course Format: 3 x 6 hrs

This is not a ski school class this one goes further than you will have experienced before!
“You have now mastered parallels on all pistes… looking to venture onto all terrain including off piste, bumps and gnarly blacks”!!
Depending on weather, the performance ski course will include technique in the BUMPS, how to stay afloat in POWDER and how to keep head above feet on the STEEPS. If you are lucky all 3 might happen at the same time (snow conditions dependent). Our Elite Team of BASI ISTD Ski Teachers guarantee to bring your skiing to a new level. We will help you discover your strengths, find your own personal balance and alignment and harness these to produce a confident inspiring performance.
*Course can be extended on request when making your booking. Transceivers may be required as additional kit.

All Mountain Masterclass
Course Format: 18 x 3 hrs

This course is designed for the seasonal/resident master skier who wants to fine tune their skiing to be a well rounded skier that can take on anything. Whether you want to hone you skills in the Giant Slalom, or bumps, off piste and touring.

Ski Instructor Training
Course Format: 3 hrs
Number of clients: Max. 6
Cost: €45 per person
Aimed at high-level skiers, BASI Level 1 and Level 2 ski instructors, our ski instructor training will help skiers and instructors develop their all mountain skills. You may have a strong understanding of the fundamental elements but have limited opportunity to apply these skills in the variety of terrain encountered in the mountains.
- We will develop your understanding of: The Tactical side of All Mountain skiing
- The Technical application of the Fundamental Elements
We will also consider the physical and psychological aspect of high level, all mountain performance.
This is also an opportunity for you to refresh your teaching skills and find new ways of inspiring your clients by working with our exceptional teachers.

Seasonaires
Course Format: 1 x 3hrs
Number of clients: Maximum of 6 clients
Cost: €45 per person
Payable in Euro Cash, French Cheque or Paypal.
This programme is designed to bring together skiers working in the areas of Megeve, St Gervais, and Contamines who would like to develop their skills during the season. Groups will be available on request (3 hours) during non holiday weeks. The cost will be €45 per head per session (Payable at least one week in advance to book place). These sessions are generally run on a Thursday but can be arranged depending on availability.
Everyone should be able to make linked parallel turns to attend the ski course. Content of ski courses will include - On Piste, Bumps, Carving, Off Piste, Touring. Pre booking essential.
